Jim:
 has played in bands all over the British Isles and his personalised style of playing the twelve string acoustic guitar always ensured that he was in demand by country bands.
Ray Daniel's of the “Good Ole Boys” always insisted that his band took their cue from Jim.  This band was voted “band of the year” during their very first gig on the circuit.  This was at the Jubilee Rooms, Waterlooville Football Club, Hampshire.  So impressed was the audience that a standing ovation and demands for more seen the band leave stage thirty five minutes after the official stopping time.
He has also performed as a comedian / compere’ in the Ryan Theatre, Stranraer.  He compiled his own act for this venue and was so successful that the audience regarded him as a local comedy celebrity.
